Can Tottenham Hotspur go top the Premier League table with a win? Or, will Fulham secure back-to-back victories against Ange Postecoglou’s side away from home?

Given they were as wide as 66/1 to win the Premier League prior to the 2023-24 season getting underway – there aren’t too many people who would have picked Tottenham Hotspur to be leading the league after eight games.

However, that is exactly where they find themselves, and they have a great opportunity to build on their lead atop the table tomorrow when they take on the 12th-placed Fulham in what is a winnable game for Ange Postecoglou’s side.

At the time of writing, the Spurs are a short 4/9 favourite to come away with the win at home, while the Cottagers are outsiders at 5/1. A draw is the second-best backed in the market at 15/4.

While Spurs boast a very good record against Fulham in recent years, they were on the wrong end of a result in their Carabao Cup clash earlier this year. After the game was all tied up at 1-1, Fulham went on to win 5-3 in penalties.

It was Richarlison who managed to find the back of the net for the north London club in that particular game – and for those predicting not only the Brazilian to score again tomorrow; but for the full-time scoreline to be a 1-1 draw at the conclusion of 90 minutes – that is priced at 50/1 courtesy of Sky Bet’s ‘Scorecast Boost’.
