Again, another PDP national officer dumps party in Kaduna

A national ex-officio of the Peoples Democratic Party, representing Kaduna State, Magaji Alhassan, has resigned his membership of the party in the state.

Alhassan announced his resignation through a letter addressed to the acting national chairman of the party, Umar Damagum, dated October 5, 2023.

A former governor of the state, Ramallan Yero, had also, on September 30, 2023, resigned from the party.

Yero became deputy governor under the late Patrick Yakowa administration.

He, however, became the substantive governor following Yakowa’s death in a helicopter crash in Bayelsa Staten

Similarly, Alhassan announced his resignation from the PDP via a letter he wrote to the party’s acting chairman of Kwabai B ward, Zaria Local Government Area of the state,  dated October 7, 2023.

The letter obtained  in the state capital on Sunday stated no reason for his resignation from the PDP.
