EKURHULENI – The ANC has retaken the City of Ekurhuleni.

On Thursday, Nkosindiphile Xhakaza was elected unopposed as the mayor of the dysfunctional municipality.
Former mayor Sivuyile Ngodwana was removed from office through a motion of no confidence in March.
